today we leave for Orlando, Florida. i think im finally getting excited, although i have the worries that i always have-who will i sit by, what will we eat, etc. but certainly this all pales in comparision to the awesome things i am expecting God to do in our group. please pray for us!

back from Orlando and back to school! thank you for your prayers because God did a work in our group. We had some awesome worship experiences, strong words from God, and sweet fellowship. it is a joy to spend time away from the familiar and in full concentration on Him. i was also able to speak one morning and Jesus really convicted me as well as (i hope) many of the girls and guys alike. i spoke about true beauty, and the fact that this world and God's Word say two very different things. in conclusion, God did more in hearts than could be contained in all the books in the world, but there are many more things that need to be done. please continue to pray for my youth group. {ohh, and i finally got to see joe last night,(he had gone to ohio) and i think my heart almost burst in hearing his voice and seeing him. oh, just mushy girl feelings i guess, but he is the Godliest boy i know, and i feel overwhelmed even more now everytime i see him. wow...}
