anger never was the solution
adding insult to injury
on injured knees, with much to determine
the worth of this burden obvious to me
if i were there to show you how
in greeting disapproval
in ignorance avoidance
all with you is lose-lose
and all with out is this
tearful angst of friendship
and the affects on the beautiful
that is dismissed as skin deep
and the affects on the deep
that is dismissed as a plague
on the less than appealing
all lies and sickening to a point of physical reaction
how do i show worth by giving
this situation worthlessness in pertinence
and the bulging down of relational conversation
sucks the bitterness of the atmosphere
off to sleep when what i wanted to discuss
was the lack of personal anything with Us
and calls to far away for comfort
while fellowship here all replaced
in regrets and regrets without disdain
i've been regretting for days and days
