at times, when music is played, i lose myself so fully that i feel i could be anywhere, at anytime, and be wholly content. and as long as that music is playing and i have become so much a part of it, the sounds and i are one in the same. and nothing can touch me in that place, nothing can pull me away. it is the music and i, and it is an incredible feeling. it is something that with everything i am, i cannot capture in writing, but, the process in effort to is what creates poetry. we are musicians because God reveals Himself to us in music, we are artists because God reveals Himself to us in art, we are astronomers and doctors and writers and photographers and athletes and dancers because God reveals Himself to each of us through these individual means-and none of these things are mediocre. and everyone is beautiful in this, that He has created a something in everyone. and it should change our eyesight and mindsight and hindsight and foresight. and it should change the way we see every other person. i want to see the thing that You have revealed to them. i want to show them what You've shown me.
