i would say im drowning in this
but floating is more like
the methods you choose
like rain falling slowly
beginning strangely
gliding and caressing
wetting and cooling
filling fast
covering every square inch
until the gauge is full
and im lifted somehow off the dry ground
and surrounded by this water world
i can't help but notice the cloudless sky
and so your affection points me to creation
which leads to the contemplation of the creator
and He is an artist
but i dont know Him intimately yet
and the rain here is pounding through
the music playing
and small revelations into the eternal
and small steps that lead to the right direction
perhaps one day it will be the time
to turn over and splash in the ocean
until then we'll both exist in this place
holding eachother
and you are the most beautiful place to be held
with all your currents
i can almost see you now
